So yesterday met up with pj, jx and kw for jx’s pre-bday celebration. So glam right. Must have pre-bday celebration, grand party celebration and post-bday celebration. Hope you liked your pre-bday pressies. I assume you’re lying in anticipation of the bday pressies and wishes but I think you can count out the TV…

My verdict of the balcony is erm….ok only lah. Overhyped. My initial idea of the balcony was that it was a cool chill-out lounging kind of eating place. Think the open air concept and the “balcony” idea was not tied very well. The decor was good though. Food is all right only. Good offer - 1 for 1 drinks, only if you’re with people who are cheap drunks hahaha. Come to think of it, I never really realized I had a much higher capacity, and thus a so-called “expensive drunk”. After that, supposed to go to Mambo and ended up queuing until almost at the door only to be turned away. So frustrating. So had to end up at Dbl O, queue up again. Why did it seem like we were queuing most of the night away? I didn’t even get slighly high. But I’m sure jx was very in-sync with the music at Dbl O. I bet you know all the lyrics. Had fun you guys. I hope we continue our bday celebrations for many many years to come.

Today met up with Hyna over lunch to buy ks’s present. I didn’t bother calling/inviting hp to chip in. I think I expect her to give ks an even better present. I know ks does too. But somehow I have the nagging feeling that she is going to let down ks again this year. Last year hp gave ks a $9.90 body scrub. And ks had given her a diamond pendant necklance. Sad, really. Ks was upset naturally, not because of the worth of the present but because there was no thought put into getting the present. I mean, ks doesn’t even like BdyShop.

Then at night went with Dy and Jy to watch “Was nuetzt die Liebe in Gedanken” (Love in thoughts) a German film. I’ld say it’s a reasonably good film. Based on a true story, it is about a suicide pact club and how they die for love. Definitely something very new but some things are beyond my comprehension. The movie has one part where Guenter and his sister, Hilde are both supposedly in love with a guy called Hans. And Guenter’s good friend Paul also loves Hilde (whom half the world also “loves”) but Hilde’s good friend Elli “loves” Paul. Yah, lots of triangles. There’s one scene where a triangle literally exists. Hans is in the middle lying on the grass with both Hilde and Guenter by his side and he takes turns to kiss and make out with each of them. I cannot understand that.

Note, this is not an issue with bisexuals. My bias extends to heterosexuals as well. I cannot understand how people can claim to be “in love” with two different people at the same time. It’s just not possible. If he claims to be in love with one woman, he cannot turn around and claim to love another guy/girl at the same time. If he does so, in my eyes, it is PURELY out of lust. No love. The world is full of 1) cheats, 2) deluded fools and 3) people who don’t mind being cheated. Really sad.
