Being sick is no fun. Sleeping like a pig. And watching backdated episodes of Prison break, Gilmore Girls and Grey’s Anatomy. Prison Break is just soooo addictive and have I goo-gooo-ga-gaed enough about Wentworth Miller? His name sucks but he is soooooo cute. *wanders off to dreamland*…

One line was just hilarious rom PB:

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall

Humpty Dumpty had a great fall

……….

Hilarious!!!

Anyway, got this off Raji’s blog. Clearly, I’m bored out of my mind.

I have parents who love me
I have friends
I have faith
I have lived
I have had a wonderful childhood

Before I’m 20, NA
Before I’m 25, I want to do what I want to do.
Before I’m 30, I want to get married and do what I want to do.
Before I’m 50, I want to travel the world and do what I want to do.
Before I’m 80, I want to die peacefully.

Family is foremost
Friends are necessary
Marriage is sacred
Failure is unacceptable
Success is most important

Money is vital
Talk is cheap but good
Thought is important
Time is invaluable
Happiness is unguaranteed

I am thinking
about all the places I want to see in Washington, California, Canada and Tokyo. I just cannot wait till next month.

I said
how unpredictable life can be…

I want
a job that I enjoy and love.

I wish
for the best in life.

I miss
roaming the world with my parents when I was young.

I hear
music [Fonzerelli - Moonlight Party]

I wonder
what would life have been if I had made different choices

I regret
that I didn’t make more friends during undergrad days

I am
Jo

I dance
different. ha ha. laugh all u want.

I sing
in the bathroom. I can’t sing actually. And the walls being thin don’t help.

I cry
rarely. I’m a cancerian for a very good reason; very tough shells.

I am not
forgiving

I write
always. I can’t imagine a life without writing - the one thing I love so much.

I confuse
myself with the myriad of choices and thoughts.

I need
sleep

I should
exercise

I finish
watching "Wall Street" for the millionth time. Okay, I’m exagerrating but I really lost count.

Life, QuestionairesFriday, April 21, 2006

I love travelling. Can’t wait for the holidays. (What hols?!)

I don’t understand why and how I can do some things sometimes.

I lose stuff in my own room!

People say I’m easy to get along with and fun to be around. Though the first impressions most people have of me is usually snob but I don’t make any excuse for that. My well known mantra, as you should know by now, is "it’s better to be a snob than to be a hypocrite".

Love is something everyone has, cos’ someone in this world loves you a lot.

Somewhere, someone is thinking about me! I’m so egoistic I know.

I will always treasure my friends, family and the people that are important to me.

Forever is an illusion.

I never want to die without all my goals and wishes unfulfilled.

I think the current US President is getting what he deserves.

When I wake up in the morning I’m still dreaming and wish I can go back to sleep and finish my dream.

My past was very interesting. Worth remembering from time to time.

I get annoyed when kids scream. Bloody irritating.

Parties are for me me me!

My dog is non-existent. Not a fan of animals.

My cat is also non-existent. Same reason as the last one.

Kisses are the best when it’s with the lovely boyfriend.

Tomorrow I’ll be studying. Hopefully.

I really want to be successful and make lots and lots of money.

I have low tolerance for people who are hypocrites. I’m talking about all those retards who claim and behave as if they’re sooooo nice and then they backstab everyone quietly but surely. I hate "nice hypocrites".

I will tag everyone on my blogroll, including Ida, Sam, Raji, Wahyu, Ratna, Aisha, Rachel, Sines, Lalitha, etc etc.

Life, QuestionairesMonday, April 17, 2006
  1. How sometimes you plan and plan and plan and you get so frustrated how things don’t work out and one fine day, it actually does work out without you even intending for it to work out anymore. Like how my initial summer plans to go to US were dashed a long time back and now are confirmed. I’m going to be in California/Washington for 2 whole months. And the best part is that I don’t have to worry about being financially strapped. SUPER excited!

  2. How sometimes we can take so many things for granted. I used to think I didn’t have to worry about not having a job after I graduate but now I’m not so sure. Let’s just say it’s hanging in the air because of certain other things I wish to pursue over the next few months. I’m awaiting a response from the firm if they would be so kind as to accomodate my changing needs - or else I’ll soon be jobless. Crikey! So now I’m back to the flurry of job applications and sending out resumes, just to be on the safe side.

  3. How you can read people’s blogs discreetly and (sort of) know them in real life. How weird it is to pass them by and feel downright strange because you know more about them than you were meant to. EVEN if their blogs are not personal. Yet, you can’t tell them because you don’t really know them and you just happened to have stumbled across their blogs. It isn’t really your fault right?

  4. How quickly alcohol can be your friend and how much faster it can be dumped. Was in a foul mood because I was upset about something which I misunderstood (and because I couldn’t study) so I went with Bab to Boat Quay to down some Hoegardens. Bab has started to call them "whoregardens", albeit affectionately, since they’ve been featuring so often lately. YET once I found out that I had misread the whole situation and that I had been wrong about it all, I went right back home, still quite sober, and managed to study. Hah! How much more ironic can you get?

  5. How quickly I get addicted to things online. I’m like a virtual spongecloth for all fads. I can never seem to pry myself away from the fads and the dumbest thing is that they’re usually virtual. I’m beginning to turn into a geek. Yikes. I wanted to be a nerd. Not a geek!

  6. Last but not least, how some things are just NOT meant to be. I should now just give up dreaming and thinking about all the things I desire. If it’s meant to be, it shall. I shouldn’t mess with fate or it’ll bite me with vengeance. And everytime I try to twist and turn events around, I lose control of it alll. YET, when I just let things be as they are, they turn out to be perfectly fine. So there - that’s my new goal - DO NOTHING!

You Should Get a MBA (Masters of Business Administration)

You’re a self starter with a drive for success.
You’d make a great entrepreneur.

Get to know yourself better

Your view on yourself:

You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:

You like serious, smart and determined people. You don’t judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren’t necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people’s eyes.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:

You prefer to get to know a person very well before deciding whether you will commit to the relationship.

The seriousness of your love:

You like to flirt and behave seductively. The opposite sex finds this very attractive, and that’s why you’ll always have admirers hanging off your arms. But how serious are you about choosing someone to be in a relationship with?

Your views on education

Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.

The right job for you:

You’re a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you’ll be set for life.

How do you view success:

You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don’t succeed. Don’t give up when you haven’t yet even started! Be courageous.

What are you most afraid of:

You are concerned about your image and the way others see you. This means that you try very hard to be accepted by other people. It’s time for you to believe in who you are, not what you wear.

Who is your true self:

You are full of energy and confidence. You are unpredictable, with moods changing as quickly as an ocean. You might occasionally be calm and still, but never for long.

The Real You

Here is the analysis:

You’ve got great self-confidence and you’re full of charm. Most guys who get to know you will be attracted to you. You are far from sweet and proper; your intriguing personality fascinates them. Most guys find it easy to fall for a girl like you. You really care about other people’s feelings and are quite serious about the issues that affect your life. You are sincere, and your concern for the well-being of others makes many people want to be your friend. You are a bright, cheerful and bubbly person. You are thoughtful and considerate, and like to have fun. Everybody feels comfortable around you because of your pleasant nature. When you walk into a room, people’s eyes are likely to be drawn to you because of your charm. Your peers think of you as a fun person, but sometimes you can be a little irresponsible. You can be somewhat childish, and can try to ignore the fact that you will one day need to really grow up and be a mature adult! Perhaps you could start reading good books; they might help you look at the world in a different light. You do want to be taken seriously, right? Your boyfriend thinks that you are a real doll but this is not a totally positive thing. Sometimes you can be a bit too sweet, and come across as being helpless. If you’re like this too frequently, your boyfriend and other people are likely to get tired of you having to rely on them all the time.

What’s your personality love style?

Here is the analysis:

You desire a love that will last forever. You are quite serious about finding this type of love, and that’s why you think carefully about the men that you meet before deciding whether you could really love them. You don’t just develop a crush on someone overnight: you look at a person’s personality and other aspects of their life before deciding to form an attachment. If a guy doesn’t meet your expectations, you would rather be alone. Your love has to be perfect. Be careful though, you could be missing out on some worthy relationships because your standards are so high.
Life, QuestionairesThursday, April 6, 2006

Sometimes I wake up with a feeling. A bad feeling about something that may or may not happen that day. And whenever I have that feeling, it usually goes that bad way. Sigh. I don’t like having such feelings because the reoccurences of that feeling point towards a sign for me and that lowers my confidence level going into that dreaded event. Well today was one of those days. I can’t really control that feeling. It’s like if I have that feeling I just bomb whatever I have to do and if I don’t, I really excel. Oh well, I can just hope and pray that I didn’t exactly bomb today’s one. That was in the morning.

In the afternoon, well I took part in one of those experiments you get paid for. Yes, I’m a cheapo who’s got nothing better to do with my time but hey, look who’s getting the moolah! I like taking part in these research experiments or whatever you call them. The benefits seem to be getting better and better each time. Once upon a time, I took part in them only because I would be interested in them, such as personality and communication experiments. These days, I still limit myself to these research interests but I get enticed more easily. Today’s one was good. It boasted interaction with counterparts with college kids in another country and lovely food and drinks, on top of monetary remuneration.

Yet I was unhappy about bombing the morning episode. So I went with Bab to down some Hoegardens. I don’t like beer very much but the taste of apparent/looming failure is very much harder for me to swallow. I must remind myself that failure is just part and parcel of life. But I really wish it weren’t.
